Fajjah: Survivor, a roguelike from a Bedouin world
Fajjah is a hybrid-casual roguelike from Dimensions Games Studio: survive endless waves of enemies, choose a power-up each time you level up, and push every run further than the last. It's built on Arab and Bedouin aesthetics, and its world carried on into Siege. It went live on the App Store in December 2024 and is also on Google Play.

Design decisions
Power-ups from the kitchen
The power-ups are local food and kitchen things: a maamoul spoon that circles you and hits whatever it touches, a qatayef plane that shoots for you, a bottle of olive oil that burns where it lands.
Never the same run twice
The power-ups on offer change every run, so each run plays differently and there's always a reason for one more.
A world, not a one-off
Fajjah's world carries into Siege, a tower defense set in the same universe, so a player who likes one has a reason to try the other.
Collect, upgrade, go deeper
What you collect on a run upgrades you, so each run reaches further into the desert than the last.
